Ok, so from my other forum questions, I got some really great responses. I wanted to compare two rigs that I priced out, and see what your opinions are.

A few things you should know:
1) Both rigs were recommended to me many times...
2) I added the guitar to both rigs, it was not recommended to me...

It depends on how important versatility is to you. If it's of great importance, get Amplifire. Otherwise, get the 6505 and put a new speaker in it.

You talkin' a used Peavey or a regular? Is the speaker in the 6505 bad?

Its a bottleneck on the potential of the amp. Though there are plenty of cheap V30 clones to replace it with.

i mean the + of course. The regular 6505 doesn't come in a 112.

Have you considered going used or are you already doing that?
