Hey guys I've just acquired this guitar for essentially pocket money, I was wondering if any of you had heard of the make or know what they're worth, or what they're like?

It's a Hondo Revival hollow body

Any info is much appreciated, thanks

The first I saw of them, were department store Strat copies three decades or so past. I think "starter packs" (*) were part of their shtick as well. In those days, they popped up in the "musical instrument dept", of your basic record store also. (Yes, I mean actual vinyl records).

There seems to be plenty of info on the web though: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hondo_%28guitar_company%29

(*) Although I do believe that "Squier" appeared at or near the same time. So, I'm certain about the brand, but not absolutely about the starter packs.

Hondo was a budget brand mainly made in korea back when they first started to make guitars in korea. some of thier guitars weren't bad but many were plywood cheapies. i had a LPjr copy for years as a couch guitar to noodle on watching tv. plugged in it wasn't much to talk about though. (gave it to a kid that needed a guitar).
