That's a solid list, but Frusciante is a bit questionable up there. Great player, but no where near the top 20.

It's not dad rock though. Brent Mason has probably the greatest resume of any guitarist that ever lived and all the top tier players in the early 90s were scared out of their skin when it came to Danny. And Shawn Lane is just the best. And they aren't dad rock.

haha fair enough. I'm a big Brent mason fan - I learned a lot of his solo album.

Shawn and Danny are amazing as well.
