I love old Chinese kung-fu movies. The worse, the better. There are some new martial arts movies that are also pretty great, but they're good in a good way.

I've probably already seen any movie you lot can name, but send some suggestions my way anyways. I might amend OP with suggestions if there's any interest

Some of my favorite martial arts films are:

Enter the Dragon
Ip Man
Ong Bak
Iron Monkey
Snake in the Eagle's Shadow
Kung Fu Killer
Flashpoint
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Shaolin

Donnie Yen is amazing and Tony Jaa is the coolest person ever. Discuss

I used to love them when I was a kid. Early Jackie Chan was pretty great. Rumble in the Bronx got me into Bruce Lee movies and old school martial arts films.

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

My dad's really into martial arts so we usually end up watching a lot of kung fu movies together. You've probably seen these, but if not go check them out maybe:

Hero
House of Flying Daggers
Fearless

early Jackie Chan is great

he keeps everything in one frame so you see action and reaction. none of that cut scene bs

I was going to suggest two of those movies, ong bak 2 is badass also. The protector is another great movie. Drunken fist master is also another great movie, the over dubbing makes it better.

This movie is so great. It's terrible, but on an amazing level.

Love martial arts films. Ip man was excellent. I've seen a few mentioned but I'll have to check out some others.

Anyone use Hulu know of some top notch martial arts available there?

Like I said, coolest ever.

Yeah, The Protector is a must watch. (I wont spoil the greatest fight scene ever though, towards the end).

Tony Jaa is amazing. True MMArtist, and Ong Bak 3 is brutal

Kundo has some cool fights in it, though it's quite long from what I remember.

House of the Flying Daggers was the best of the late 90s -early 2000s boom IMO.
A lot of great stuff came out in that period
