Hi there, all!

I've been using a Passive Radial Pro DI & sometimes a Palmer Pan-01 D.I. Box and it seems to work well with my setup.
One thing I'm not sure of though is what is best for an electric guitar? A Passive or Active D.I. Box? Somewhere on the net I've read that a Passive should be good, but on another page I read that an Active also should do the job?

Can anyone explain why there's different takes on this?
Is one better than the other?
Is one producing more/better sound than the other or??

THANKS A LOT!

Your Radial Pro DI is fine for elec guitar application. An active box requires 48 v phantom power to operate. If your sound system can provide phantom power, the active box will work equally well. You'll notice no sound difference with either box.
