This week I've been picking up the guitar with an intent to learn to play it again. I also want to learn extended scale guitar as well so a 7 or 8 has been on my GAS list for a while.

1 - http://www.ibanez.com/products/eg_page15.php?year=2015&area_id=3&cat_id=1&series_id=4&data_id=164&color=CL01

2 - http://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/banshee-elite/banshee-elite-7-detail or http://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/banshee-elite/banshee-elite-8-detail

3 - No idea, probably a decent single cut style as all my guitars are superstrats + a V.

And supplementary guitars I want just because they are gorgeous

In order:

2) A 1950 Fender Broadcaster...ya, I know good luck finding one!
3) 1955 Gretsch 6120. I know, I know.

I promise that after I add these three guitars to my collection I will never ever buy another guitar!

My list:

Depends on what list,

the "if I had all the cash in the world" list?

Or something more realistic?

Realistic:

Vigier Marilyn
Gibson Firbird VII
ESP Kamikaze IV

in random order.

It changes on a daily basis.

This is not to say I have an attention or decision making problem like an Irish Setter in a squirrel-rich environment, because I don't.

I have a huge gear list, and I'm always looking for deals. I'm also open to finding rarities and exotics. So what I want on a given day partly depends on what deals I am aware of.

I more or less put this in the "How many is enough?" thread but here we go

After that at the moment I think I may try to get an AC30 but who knows what the future holds? Anybody's guess what the third guitar will be, maybe something AVRI? Maybe something hollowbody.

not likely to be getting any of these soon but

early 60s style Gibson SG with super thin neck and vibrola with pearloid arm. think frank marino circa 77

70s style Fender Stratocaster with natural finish must have 9.5" radius just don't care for older 7.25

mid to late 70s BC Rich Eagle with all the cool electronics (i'd settle for a bich or mockingbird if need be).

I struggle all the time with arriving at a single guitar that I could plan to acquire. What would probably be best for me would be a constant flow of acquisitions to try on a weekly basis, as I love setting them up and playing them and moving on to the next.

My favourites of any guitars have always been my own homemade electric guitars anyway, so the best answer for me might be "my next home-built guitar".
#23
1 ... G&L ASAT Bluesboy ... Empress wood , should be a 6 lbs solid body , on order now and roughly 7 weeks away

2 .... Carvin/Keisel California carved top 24 fret

3.... Carvin SH550

The Steelphonic, however, is unusual in that the entire body is steel, not just a plate over the top. Moreover there's a round "candy box" something like a resonator under the bridge. And it's a 25.5" scale and...and...

I've liked Trussart guitars ever since I became aware of them, at least a couple of decades. But that leads to another association - resolectric! I play slide on both resos and electrics, so I like the idea. I've never had the chance to try one though.

ibanez prestige 2550 (i have it though, but i can't get it until Christmas. so that doesn't totally count.

Thinking about it, these are really just the main guitars that we all want right now...a lot of people saying Music Man guitars. I'd love a variety of those guitars, as well as the EVH range of guitars, but right now I want a Universe and a JB24
#38
You want exotics? A pie in the sky wish list? I'll take a Myka, a Crimson, and a Vigier.

...or a Teuffel

...Somogyi?

Thorn?

A Ryan?

Jersey Girl?

Ruokangas?

Hi-Tone?

Parker?

Like I said, what I want changes all the time.
