Any of you guys could recommend a nice animation software to fool around with? There are so many of them..

Just basic, easy to use, for making like simple gifs
I was using macromedia flash 8, had it on my computer from some time ago, figured there would be more friendlier softwares since then.

Are there any where I can insert images, and animate them?
