hi guys!
I'm planning on buying a 2001 CE 22 and I was wondering whether or not I could replace the fretboard so it would have bird inlays (or if i could just put bird inlays.
I know it's possible to change a guitar fretboard but should I? and is it possible to buy an original PRS fretboard? how much does it cost/where can i find one?

thanks!!

Paying someone to replace the entire board is going to cost way more than it would to just buy a guitar with the right one instead of the one you're looking at. PRS will not sell you a new board, either.

I bet someone sells vinyl decals in the right shape. Anything more involved is going to cost more than it's worth.

You could find a swamp ash special and swap the necks then sell the swampash with the CE neck.

Trust me I've owned my CE22 for 11yrs and after a little while you will forget about the moons on it and just be stoked your playing a great guitar.
