I really have no idea about guitars. Could you kind folks tell me what this is? I'm afraid I'm at a loss.

Have some puush links - I can't upload the two images I've got as attachments.

Mind the phone camera. I have no idea why they look like this, I swear I'm not using filters.

Here and here.

Some kind of Asian Stratclone.
Sturgeon's 2nd Law, a.k.a. Sturgeon's Revelation: “Ninety percent of everything is crap.”

Why, yes, I am a lawyer- thanks for asking!

Log off and play yer guitar!

Strap on, tune up, rock out!

If it helps any, it says Made in Japan on the back.
That would likely make it pretty old. Japan, like the US, has moved most of their production overseas.

I can't make hide nor hair out of that logo, sorry. If you have time to burn and are really curious, it's possible you might find some info here: http://www.jedistar.com/jedistar_vintage_guitar_dating_a.htm

If it was made in Japan, it might have been constructed in the Fuji Gakki plant. Chances are it's a decent guitar. The Japanese are well known for their guitar craftsmanship. I own a MIJ '86 Fender Squier Bullet, and it's one of my favorites to play on.
