Hey,
Just bought a Kramer with a 'licensed' floating Floyd rose system. Guitar plays and sounds great, except I noticed the locking nut does not work as well as it could - some strings strings slip even when it is clamped shut with any dip more than a whole step.
What would people recommend for a replacement locking nut?
Please no "get a fixed bridge" comments.
Thanks.

What is the width of the nut?

Floyd and others make replacement locking nuts. You'll want to take some measurements, however, because there ARE different nuts depending on width, radius, etc.
