After all the nice things you guys said about my other lyrics I decided to really put my heart and dediction into one song. So here it goes

I love the ocean too
How it's painted green and blue
In my recurring dreams of you
Oh wake me not, oh wake me not
We're better when we're fast asleep
When you rise me from my fragrant sheets
It's that innocence I want to keep
Oh wake me not, oh wake me not

Find me sleeping on my feet
The most delightful man you'll ever meet
And there's nothing that compares to him
To your own sleepwalking man
You know I wanna be on your side
Part of me just wants to run and hide
People scare me more than pain you know
Let's walk into the fray again

Will you grace me with your presence here?
In your room of dying light
Beyond the reach of everything
In the sanctuary of the night
I'd rather be a sleepwalking man
I want no power or command
Over people I'll never understand
Oh wake me not, oh wake me not

Find me sleeping on my feet
The most delightful man you'll ever meet
And there's nothing that compares to him
To your own sleepwalking man
You know I wanna be on your side
Part of me just wants to run and hide
People scare me more than pain you know
Let's walk into the fray again

The end. Thanks for reading

Pretty decent. I'm curious to know what you use to put the music together. I assume your not playing all those instruments. :-) Sort of ironic I guess, been a computer geek most of my life, and a S/SW for at least 25 years, but I never recorded anything electronically... except of course for the standard amp/pa/board.... and that using only acoustic strings.

I do all my songs with one or two guitars, sometimes a bass, and lots of harmony in the vocals. Now I'm thinking (and wondering) why I never took the time to try to put stuff together digitally. I have to wonder what my stuff would sound like with a full band ... some percussion, etc. Do you use "Garage Band"? or some other applications to compose?

Thanks.
A friend of a friend owns and runs a small recording studio. I usually just play a 12-stringer and sing, but I wanted to try to get a "professional" sound. I'm not playing any of the instruments in the video
