When i turn my amp off, some times it makes a noise. sometimes not, anybody know what is it ? and does it have to do with letting the tubes cool before turning the amp off ?

also, does it mean something bad ? irrelevant ? thank you

I guess it all depends on what kind of noise. Sometimes a pop is just capacitor discharge. Other noises like Jurassic park dinosaur screams? Not so good.
"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis

If you switch it into standby before you power it off you will minimise the popping. I rarely bother, it isn't that loud. Let 'em eat pop.
