What is a good neck pickup with a Burstbucker pro in the bridge. Something with good definition and clarity. Playing Blues Rock so I want something kinda gritty with overdrive. Budget is up to $75. The guitar is a Telecaster. Thanks

we are missing a lot of important information.

is the neck pickup a humbucker or SC?

what amp are you using.

what tele model?

what came in there stock, and what do you want to change about the tone?

do you have a brand preference?

if you want to go with another gibson pickup, i would look into a '57. may be a little bit out of budget, but probably not a ton.

SD'59's sound good in neck position of strats, there is one that i work on regularly that has a pearley gates and a '59 combo and it sounds great.

a humbucker sized P90 could be a cool thing.

Honestly I would have just gone for a set of Duncan 59s rather than Gibson pickups.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
