I bought an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro, the discontinued trans black model, and I never thought to look at the truss rod before purchasing it. Only spent $230 on it but when I got home to set it up, nothing would fit the truss rod. Figured it may not be an allen wrench then I had a buddy tell me it's stripped and my local music store tell me that. Honestly, the only way this can be fixed is to take the fretboard off and replace the rod, which is very expensive to do. But the pickups on this bass are monstrous and the EQ controls are great. $100 takes it or trade for a noise suppressor or distortion pedal.

Live in St. Joseph, MO, I can meet in about a 2 hour radius. I'd rather not ship it due to high cost.
Baby Joel's rabbit profile picture is kinda cute. #TeamJOEL
