i have a Fernandes Vertigo i've had for years... made some time in the 2000's i'd say ... but anyway... i started playering all the songs i've wrote a half step down and prefer it .... all the saddles go back far enough to intonate but the gString ... its sharp on the 12th fret a bit.. its bothering me ... probably more than it should... is there a "longer" bridge or something i should look into?... i really don't wana have someone move the bridge or something drastic like that ... i was hoping there was something i'm missing that you guys could point out... thanks guys

could you post a pic of the bridge?

reality is that not all guitars can be perfectly intonated. yea it sucks. i have a strat that doesn't and an SG that doesn't either. sometimes there is not much you can do.

fixed it ... i got to thinking ... Pulled the saddle out and flipped it around ... all that holds it from coming out is a little piece of Wire across the top of the screws ... keeping them in their grooves.. one side of the saddle is slanted ... so i flipped it so the flat side was facing backwards... i can't believe i played that out of tune mofo for that long and didn't think of that.... hope it doesn't start breaking strings now or something ... fingers crossed ... but its intonated

Good on ya, I was going to recommend flopping the saddle! I've done the same thing for nearly every tune-o-matic setup I've done.
