Beast, you echo through my mind.
Giving way to endless night, in fear-monger style.
The sand, it slips the hourglass.
Assures these dues shall come to pass and I've got no time.

Was it in the waves you went on?
In endless sayings?
Truth is gone.
From where to draw, I've felt for so long.

"Do you not even remember?"
Because you take that from me too.
And I've forbid it.
"Do you still feel so forgiven?"
Because I've raked these reasons to dole out decisions.

Going on in your disguise.
I shudder at the thought of my sweet specter gone.
Eyes are closed and judgement nigh.
I long for somewhere new nice.
Some distant aether home.

Rare and wicked devil, crush the living thing inside.
Inside.

"Do you not even remember?"
Because you take that from me too.
And I've forbid it.
"Do you still feel so forgiven?"
Because I've raked these reasons to dole out decisions.

Nice work. I enjoyed the imagery, alliteration, metaphor - the overall poetic literary feel. It is filled with anger & pain, I hope it's fiction and not memoir. My favorite line - "Because I've raked these reasons to dole out decisions." Thanks for posting.
