It sounds more like a chorus to me, but there's a degree of overlap between the two effects, so you can't necessarily make a clean distinction. I reckon I'd use a chorus to get that sound, though.

Yeah, it sounds like a chorus effect. During the chorus of the song, the rate sounds like it is set fairly high.

Chorus. But, a lot of boutique pedals combine effects and even BOSS has gotten into that market. I just picked up a Tera Echo after trying it out in the shop at the request of the manager who just got it in and it's pretty tough to describe as it combines multiple effects.

Thanks for the replies. Good point about combined pedals. I only asked because I thought it sounded like Chorus but my chorus pedal sounds nothing like that. Granted it's only the $15 FAB Chorus. Here's a live performance video at 0:33 there is a close up of their pedal board. The pink pedal looks like it could be some modulation pedal but I don't recognize it.

If that's what it is, we all messed up That orange number's an MXR Phase 90. I'm not entirely convinced that's the effect we're hearing on the studio recording, though.

I recognized the Phase 90, I was talking about the Pink (or redish) and white one next to the Line 6. It looks like it has some different wave patterns on it. I can make out "SOUND" but that's about it

That's a Death By Audio Soundwave Breakdown- a fuzz.

And, FWIW, the green one is a Line6 DL4.

Beyond that, though, hard to say, and it isn't like tat pedalboard shot showed us the whole thing, so...

Personally, I'm hearing a bit of chorus and flanger in the studio track.
