While I was once a fan of GNR I have no interest in seeing them live. Correction I would be interested but Axl's reputation for a list of things is what is keeping me from pursuing it.

Assuming you were lucky enough to have GNR play in your area, would you risk it?

I like a handful of their songs and Welcome to the Jungle features some of my favourite guitar playing ever, but no I wouldn't.

Would have loved to have seen them in their prime though.
My old signature was too long. Have a daisy.

Did you hear about the cockney Godfather?

He made them an offer they couldn't understand.

To be fair I'd even see the 'reunion' if someone else footed the bill.

I like some songs, Like Sweet Child O' Mine and Welcome to the Jungle, but I don't know enough to really answer the question.

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

I'd go, but I'd expect a late start, and vocals that haven't aged well.

^ I mean yeah...I would go and see them if they did like an Appetite For Destruction play whole album from start to finish tour....like everybody wants to see that right? With ALL original members including Steven....I mean everybody would go and see that...even people not really into G N R...but yeah, should be a worthwhile show...people that have only heard the hits of Appetite...listen to the whole thing, you won't regret it...

I think they'd be better off with someone who can actually play drums.

I would go.

I mean, people still pay to see Ozzy even though he hasn't been able to perform properly since like the early 90s. Same thing with AC/DC and *insert hair metal band here*

A cornucopia of trashy milfs?

Hmmmm, good enough to go but not good enough to buy an expensive ticket or drive very far.

So yes, I'd go under the right circumstances

I would, one of my favourite bands, AfD and UYI I+II are some of my favourite albums.

Really, really hoping they decide to come over to the UK.

Would be great if it can be arranged so that Izzy and Steve get back in too (or Gilby+Matt)

They don't interest me at all anymore. Also I always liked Use your Illusions more than Appetite

Dude if you want that just find any bar that has tribute hairbands that play. There will be a pile of them for the picking. Note they love skinny jeans and button down shirts NOT tucked in. Not like I would know.

It is not GNR as we know it and love it so no.

Only in it for the money is how it is now! Sad but true
#34
Never liked them. The singer's voice is especially irritating to me.

I always thought of them as 'rock music for chicks', although I know I'll get abused for admitting that.
#35
They were def chick metal.
Almost everything that came out of the 80s metal was chick metal.

Every girl in 8th grade had a denim jacket with chick metal band buttons all over it.

Motley Crue
Warrant
Bon Jovi
Poison
GNR
Etc etc etc

This is oddly tempting me to go see them.

If they were super hipster and their boyfriend was in a band you might see a button of a legit band like Metallica and Iron Maiden.
Only the supercoolest had a Suicidal Tendencies button
