hey guys, here's a song I came up with somewhat recently. I only got to film the rhythm section but you can hear the rest smile.gif
I'd like to hear your feedback good and bad. I tried using some of the half/whole scale in a certain section. Also tried used a bit of modal changes through the solo over a 7/8 section which was challenging to me! I felt like it gave it a creepy feeling. Hope you enjoy!

Hey man. Really nice riffs as always. I love the odd timing of the riff around 0:23- sounds very Death-esque. The leads are sublime, particularly the section from around 2:20. The addition of strings was surprising but welcome. Mix wise everything is audible although sometimes the drums other than the kick drum are a bit quiet (mainly towards the beginning). Overall a very good listen.

Always liked your stuff, Marco! I don't have much to add. I'm not a technical enough gifted player to play at the speeds you do, and it's not really what I'm doing these days, but I can appreciate it and it sounds great!

I like the clean part around 1:42 or whatever it was exactly.

There are some great solos in there. I think you've sort of found a niche or something that suits your style and playing. Also I think you've improved massively with your production.

Awesome stuff man you've got a very fast and precise picking hand. The guitar tone is very suited to what your playing and the riffs are nice and tasty. I like the discordant flavours of some of your notes, gives it a menacing/dark feeling which is cool. I recognized the 7/8 section when it came with the clean playing - the soloing over this section I enjoyed very much. I like your writing style. As for production everything is sounding good to me. It would be cool if the drums matched the guitar volume a bit more but I guess us guitarists like to be the loudest all the time

Nice work man, play on. If you're interested in a little C4C here's my latest track which has a lot of 5/8 timing in it: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1700011

Your clean tone sounds weird... But I love it... I love the whole thing to be honest. VEry tight and sweet tone. I loved the chorusy weird clean tone though and how you played with the panning on that. What amp sim do you use? Nice tone. Full of character.

As for the C4C. This is our track (Yet another cover of Adele's Hello lol)

Well that was ominous and heavy! Really nice track, loving the strings in the end. Production wise everything is where it should be,drums could be a little louder but that's it,nice job!

Thanks for the comment, i appreciate it.
As odd as this might sound i've never heard the original :O but I sitll checked out your version and vocally I really enjoyed it! can't really compare it but it did sound very well done. I also like the section at 2:33. The only thing i'd suggest is the guitars are a bit fizzy for my taste but that's just an opinion!
I use z 6505+ head with a mesa cab and mic it :P
