We had a thread on red flags I think

What is an anti-red flag for you? In this example a quality or fact about someone that means they would be a good person to date for you.

It's definitely a big pro if they have a pulse

But that's just being picky, right?

smart (like coasts through phds in sciences smart)
doesn't really get offended or take unimportant shit to heart
generous

edit: also in very good health. nothing really against sick and disabled people, can get over it, but been around enough people who are a bit of a drag due to some affliction to the point where anyone who has nothing notable holding them back gets my attention. however, "very good health" is more emotional I think actually, so I'm pretty cool with someone who does have a some kind of illness/disability that could be a real drag if they dwell on it but instead gets over it and doesn't let it hold them back.
O.K.

But boys will be boys and girls have those eyes
that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes
and all you can do is just wait by the moon
and bleed if it's what she says you ought to do

Is dumb enough to date me, but smart enough to be legally able to manage their own finances.

Yea, that's like 2 people.

Definitely need a sense of humor. Someone that has the same tastes in music or at least some that are similar, someone with a stable job.

My anti red flags:

Being polite and respectful - I am talking to a girl recently and I don't really expect her to reply straight away but she's being polite and saying "Sorry I took so long to reply!" if she takes a while to message back and that's just nice in my opinion.

Liking cats. I love cats so if someone also likes cat then that is a bonus.

Being able to hold a good conversation - it's not hard to hold an interesting conversation, you just ask questions about each other share your experiences and opinions on things. When conversation just flows effortlessly that is great.

Similar but not identical taste in music - I don't mind if they don't have the same music taste as me but being able to overlap on a few bands or artists is cool. I wouldn't want to date someone with exactly the same music taste because I like being introduced to new things.

Your second point is very cool. It's really unrealistic to pretend that a potential future partner will have no flaws whatsoever but there's a line of what is too much.
