The sounds and rhythm in 1 - 3 are really great and easy to get caught up in, but you have always got me thinking about texture. The way you amass material images (wool/concrete/porcelain/chalken) as well as the use of inaudible characters like slashes or reversed parentheses makes for a very tactile read. After a while this makes my skin crawl in a good way.

I think you lose some of the effortless feel when we get to 4, though. Maybe the lines are too short or overly enjambed, but the reading starts to feel bumpy. I think that 5-7 being clumped together in what otherwise looks like one stanza only exacerbates this.
