What cool tunes have you guys been exposed to that you would normally never hear? I wasn't in the "punk scene" in my youth so I missed almost all that. I missed a lot of stuff when I was in the military as well. I've found that the radio stations in video games have exposed me to a lot of stuff I really like that I'd have never heard. How about you guys show songs you learned about through games or movies?

Here's some stuff introduced to me by GTA 5

This one reminds me of Led Zeppelin.

There shall be a stop to this madness. The battle is not over. My tasty licks aren't going anywhere.

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

Hello.
I'm looking for professional bongo-ists and triangle-ists to make a Progressive Technical Brutal Death Metal band
(will be called AxOxJxLxAxIxVxXxUxWxZxQxUxRxWxGxJxSxAxLxKxMxNxHxUxGxAxAxWxVxCxBxZxVx)
(Don't even ask what it means)

Most of what I listen to now wouldn't be to my taste if I'd never visited /mu/ tbh.

But I liked Uptown Funk, and have found myself really warming to pretty much every song on the GOTG soundtrack.

Honestly I'm already a super old person and would be crazy behind the times on good pop music if I weren't too lazy to charge my ipod to use in my car and thus only listen to the radio. Radio is the only thing keeping me hip

At 2:20 in Grandma Plays the Numbers, it always sounded to me like she's saying "well-a suck a dick, son"

Haha...thats such a funny, cute song though, huh? Fallout 4 is filled with numbers like that

Went to see shitty Manc indie band The Courteeners a few years ago and before the gig the stage crew were playing Gogol Bordello over the PA and my life changed forever.
My old signature was too long. Have a daisy.

The Weirdos "Life of Crime" kinda reminded me of the twangy guitar from the 60's. I've never heard "Till I Collapse", but Eminem is one of the few rappers I have any positive feeling for. Not for his music, but because he hated GW Bush so much
