I get the impression that the voyeurism of Facebook fapping is part of the appeal to some folks

anyway no because a photograph of that sort is just an array of dots that looks pleasing and isn't conscious or sentient. there might be a referent (the person) but it's not the same thing

What does Facebook have to do with the question
>go on your facebook
>see attractive friend
>pop your cock out
>jerk it over their pictures

it's a pretty common thing on the internet
they're coming to take me away

I've never jerked to a Facebook picture but somehow I can confidently say that I would not require anyones permission to do so.

This is way creepier when you take into account that facebooks only been around for a decadr

back in the olden days before the internet you had to buy things called magazines if you wanted to look at pictures

or so i've heard

1. It's a victimless crime
2. It's a pretty fucking gross thing to do!!
3. Don't do it
4. Don't tell people you did it
#13
I'm not ashamed to say I jerked to many pictures before internet video streaming came around. Can't remember the last time a still photo was good enough to get me going.

But really why stop at pictures.
Just require a license and filled out forms to jack off for any reason whatsoever.
#22
I sure hope not

but sometimes it's nice to let them know anyway

sometimes

that'll cut you to ribbons, sometimes

Lets take it a step farther and say that we should be forced to ask someone if it's okay to masturbate to the thought of them before actually doing so.

you do not need permission to jerk off to someone's public pictures, no

however:
- you should not steal someone's pictures for any purpose
- you should not take unconsented up-close pictures for pleasure

there was this guy I used to be friends with who was obsessed w printing out pix of our schoolmates and going on the faces

Is it the sexual nature that you are opposed to?
I remember in high school I was on the basketball team and our rival high school team would post up pictures of the opposing players and throw darts at them and draw fake mustaches and draw dicks on our faces and stuff.

Isn't that Perez Hilton website all about desecration photos of people?

All of this should fall under the same category IMO.
I don't think jacking off turns it into some kind of more serious offense merely because it's sexual in nature.

I mean really if you dont tell them that you're gonna do it how can you expect them to send you pictures anyway ??

I'll chime in on this, though the question is directed toward vintage (don't want to pretend I'm speaking for her).

My personal issue with it has to do with ownership of the images and how they're acquired. If those pics are publicly posted, then imo it's kind of cringy on a personal level but I wouldn't say it's ethically beyond the pale. If those images are acquired without the implicit or explicit consent of someone (e.g., snapping photos on the bus, hacking someone's phone, etc.), then it's both cringy and ethically out-of-bounds.

Given the relative newness of social media, then how people evaluate consent as far as doing anything (sexual or otherwise) with images is still to be worked out for many folks.

It's pretty clear the objection is to obtaining private photographs without consent or being a creepy fuck and taking pictures of their feet on the bus or whatever.

on serious though, being a little creepy in your own mind is fine, we're all guilty
when it comes to consent/ownership of someone's image - you should never steal or distribute anything that was given in confidence, less you be branded scum

people are taking a risk whenever anything is put anywhere on the internet, but that's not permission to abuse

Just to clarify, if you print out a picture of someone, cut a hole in the face and then stick your dick through to see what they would look like if they had an elephants trunk, that's not creepy.

It would be funny if written consent was required. "Hi, we met once and I thought you were hot, that pic of you in a bikini you just uploaded is sexy, is it ok if I have a quick wank over it? Thanks."
I have nothing important to say
