Hi everyone, I have a problem with my boss ME-25 that's driving me crazy.
I've been using it for the last year with no problems, but a couple days ago it started doing weird things.

The problem is that whenever I'm playing, the volume just randomly drops a lot, and this is very annoying. Also, sometimes it shows another patches number on the display for a second before it drops the volume.

I've checked all cables, the power supply is new and works fine. I've also done a factory reset and keeps happening.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks a lot

Old age. It's digital, which means that it could be a lot of things that are hard to diagnose.

Ok thank you very much, I'll clean the pedal and see if it solves that.
If not, I'll just buy a tube amp.
Thank you very much guys

The only thing I can update is the drivers, and I have the most recent one.

I had been having the same random volume change problem myself after a couple years of using the unit. As someone had already suggested, what helps is spraying contact cleaner in all the pots and then turning the dials to work it in. I don't recall experiencing the problem since then. Good luck!
