Sounds like I'll need more info so here it is:

I pitted the Schecter Chris Howorth v-7 against the Ibanez RGD2127Z

These are the guitar I'm interested in so that's why I'm pitting them against each other
Ideally a tremelo is what I would like
Since I see it I guess I would like a guitar under $1000. Didn't relize the price on the Ibanez
Just then tell me what ibanez you like and what would fit in
Can't go with a sustaniac schecter because the guitars are too expensive for me
I'm also thinking of getting a KOMRAD too or an APEX

Looking for guitars that have good sustain, playablity, tone, versatility, and that it feels good to play.

So what Ibanez guitars or Schecters are better? How about you bring up two guitars from each company and say which is better and why. Keep in mind tho my budget is under $1000. anything under is fair game. Thanks for the feedback!

Schecter JL7 would be closest to what you want on the Schecter end. Or if you can find one (I doubt it considering it's new) a KM7 FRS.

From Ibanez you might want to look at used to find a nice Prestige under a grand.

ESP also has the BUZ-7QM which has a Floyd and Fishman pickups.

I'd also look at Agile. Really good bang for buck and their guitars top out around $7-800.
Gibson RD Silverburst w/ Lace Dissonant Aggressors (SOLD)
Electra Omega Prime Ceruse
Fender Franken-Jag Bass

Amps and the like:
Laney VH100R
Seismic Luke 2x12
Dunlop 105Q Wah
Gojira FX 808
Line 6 M9

First, keep in mind I know little to nothing about 7 strings.

With that out of the way, I just buzzed by Rondo's web site to see what's what.

I found these 3 sevens:
Bound body, W EMG actives: http://www.rondomusic.com/product7501.html

"Interceptor Pro" w Cepheus (?) passives, (Is that good or bad)?
http://www.rondomusic.com/product7306.html

And this gorgeous "Interceptor Pro" with EMGs: http://www.rondomusic.com/intepro725ebemgbkflmdot1.html (This is a short scale guitar 25.5")

All 3 are under $600.00, and I figure w/ shipping and case would be about $750.00.

(I picked black for all 3 axes. I figure that's the least controversial "color" going).

Whaddya think?

Those are some beautiful and sweet axes. But for me, not too big on the clear finish with the flame maple top but I can't deny it. Those are awesome

I would go for an ibanez prestige. I own four (six stringers), and they are phenomenal. I really like their tremolos, great fretwork, nice neck joint that doesn't get in the way, and notably better sustain than most Floyd equipped superstrats i have played. I would take a prestige over the Schecter any day. Kind of a class above IMHO and IME.
