I am replacing the tubes on my Mesa Boogie Dual Rect Roadster head for the first time. The preamp tubes have those metal casing around them with the spring. At the bottom of that casing is a little rubber piece on the outside. That rubber piece is fairly rotted and breaking apart. Can I put them back in without that rubber or no?
