i have been trying to figure out what i want to do to for some wiring modifications on a few guitars.

soooo, what exactly is the TBX? is it just a dual ganged pot with a resistor and cap?

i am trying to figure out how i could get it to work on a LP. i was thinking of doing this instead of two tone knobs.

are there any other similar modifications that i could do to the LP?

I've been looking into the same thing. Can't find any info on long shaft pots for LPs.

You'd need to adjust both pots at once. Also, you'd then have 2 pots for 1 tone control mounted to the guitar. That wouldn't work out well.

Two tone knobs would be fine on a LP.

Would you have to turn them both at the same time to work? Or would you be able to use them independently?

I'm thinking you'd have to go back and forth tweaking one then the other till you found your setting. Would be a PITA IMO.
