I finally completed this! This is my first (sucessful) project in Studio one. It's taken me a while to do because of trial and error with learning the DAW, hand injury, and finally buying EZdrummer2, but I finally got something presentable now. I'm not complelty happy the guitar tones though. I used my 6505mh head on the clean channel using the direct out (because I don't have a cab for home yet) and re-amped it with the iffy studio one built in ampire. Other than that I'm somewhat happy with it. I still have ALOT to learn, but I've finally managed to complete something. Haha. Tell me what you think about it! Thank you and God bless! This is good stuff, bud, really. You might be a beginner but you're definitely getting the hang of it, it's easy to spot.

I have two advices: 1. Give the drums some room. 2. This song will tire the listeners ear because of lack of harmonics. You need to address that - especially in the high-end. I know the direct sound is a pain in the ass but your guitar tone is not bad at all. Actually it sounds like a signature sound, better than you might think.

Other than that, I'm almost %100 sure your new songs will be even better!

Keep up the good work and don't stop working on Studio One! You forget. It's complicated enough as a DAW, hahah.

Thank you for the advice. I had strong feeling about the drums and high end myself. Your post pretty much confirmed my suspicions. Haha I was even telling this to my friend as we played it in a car. So I will definitely be working on that. Thanks again and God bless

Like the others have said, it's a great first effort. My early stuff years ago were just awful. Im a little better after almost two decades but it's something you are always learning. I really liked the bass guitar. The guitars didn't have much bite to them though. Drums need to punch you in the face with this kind of music and I felt they were way too far in the back. I like the panning you did. When you get yourself into a position to do everything for real i'm sure you will sound fucking fantastic.

Wow thanks man. I completely agree with the drums. Next song I will be focusing a lot more on that. Also I will be using my 5150iii head and cab for the rythem tones. (I can get by with direct for leads and cleans). The only reason I didn't use that before is because it's not with me. Thanks again for the kinds words. Take care and God bless
