Check out the knob to the right. I can still switch tone without any problem so the wiring is okay but the metal holder thingie is done for so I can't attach the actual knob. Is there any way to replace it?

My old Epi Les Paul Custom

Do you know which pot exactly should I get? I bet there are different types of it

250k or 300k.

linear or audio taper.

to a degree it is a preference thing.

i would match whatever is in there myself. it should say on it.

now that i think about it i would just swap them all. i prefer bournes hi-friction the best, i feel more control that way. i have 250k's in my gibson LP that has been modded. the other gibsons have whatever they came with in there, IIRC 300k. i prefer audio taper pots. if you were to do this i would look into getting some caps too. they are pretty reasonably price, sprague orange drops are nice and cheap. google around for a little bit, it is all preference.

Not sure what's "done" about it. If the knob falls off, spread the split part of the shaft ever so slightly with a screwdriver, then put the knob back on. Careful, as over-opening it can easily break one side off, then replacement will be necessary.

Take another look. The shaft is sheared off.

BTW, who the hell uses a 250K pot on an LP?
I don't even like the 300K versions that Gibson was using for a while.
I think all of mine are 500K these days.

I didn't put it, it was there from the start. I never bothered replacing it as there was no need

Oops. Didn't scroll far enough over to see that one on my phone. I only saw the other one that also lacks a knob
