I've got a massive wooden pedal board where the top lifts off.
I wanted to add a compartment inside the lid to store leads and strings etc. but its a thin lid so i cant really screw anything into it. Any ideas of what I can add to it?

Talk to someone who does upholstery or upholstery repairs. This is right up their alley.

What can I glue in though? some sort of zip pocket? if so where could i get one

Could do a zip pocket, velcro or stud fasteners would work too.

Maybe a set of self-gripping velcro cable ties inside would work, too.
