I have a Gibson SG that I got for $1100 used like new. It was a gift from my parents for my 12th birthday. (My other guitar was a 1995 affinity squire, so I really needed an upgrade.) The problem is, I have no idea what model of SG. I am only asking to satisfy my curiosity.
It is creamy white with a large, 3-ply, black scratchplate and gold hardware. It has an ebony fretboard and is all-mahogany construction. The fret markers are dots, and there is no inlay on the headstock.
The serial number (00270604) is embossed into the back of the head, as well as the words "made in USA" (or made in the USA, I can't remember).
