Over the last few months I've traded for 2 MiM Strats:
A 2002 white on white with a rosewood fret board, setup with 57/62 pups
A 1995 tobacco burst with red marble pickguard, Mexi pickups, high mass trem block, and a maple fretboard.

I've thought they would look better as a full blond and brunette.

Well... Surgery is done and totally successful. Necks and trem blocks swapped. Not only do they both look better, but they sound better too.
The blond with the 57/62 pups seemed a little blah with the rosewood. With the maple, it has more bite.
The brunette sounded good with Mexi pups, but now it sounds darker.
I really like them both even more now.
