Hey gang,

I have been playing this song acousticly for over 2 years but here is a full band, blues rock take. A proper power ballad. This song has always been popular among locals and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Of course I will C4C.

Hey jk, it seems like you hard panned the rhythm guitar and bass L and R? I would recommend keeping the bass in the center and then double tracking the guitar L and R, or have the guitar track stereo (if that's your thing). Maybe add a bit of reverb, too. As it is, my right ear is lonely simply because the there is more guitar going on than bass and it creates an awkward imbalance . I really enjoyed the solo though, I think it would be cool if you had little lead runs like that earlier in the song. Also, I think the drums could be a bit louder. I understand they're not the focus in this style of music, but it could help create a more dynamic and powerful mix. Everything sounds really well recorded, especially the solo. Tight playing all around. Cool song man. C4C? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1704214&goto=lastpost
Exactly what black falcon said, the L and R panning definitely needs to be fixed. I think you need to tune your guitar, or get it intonated, it sounds a little off. the song it self is pretty cool though, kind of this franz ferdinand thing happening I think. pretty cool.
