"I came here as a man
and left as a woman."

The forecast was mad
and the promises were fugitives
that became their own lands
in the hearts of the withering citizens.

Now remains a divided kingdom
that matured into no country,
like the fear of another culture
that time has no control over.

Welcome back, generation xenophobia;
your mantra narrates our voiceless world order:

I can't wait to leave.
I can't wait to leave.
I can't wait to leave.
I can't wait to leave.

Great line, great message. I hope this doesn't get ignored.

This really hit me. A message that definitely needs to be heard.

Though I hate to say it ('cause I really enjoyed this piece), I feel like something is off here. Perhaps there's a tighter way for some images to be utilized?

We're all feeling this Fred. Your imagery here is incredibly divisive but that is what this needs.
Good to hear you're doing well also.
