I wrote something I really am proud of the other day. For some reason, my writing has improved greatly in the past week.. Anyway, I have one version of the song down, but it seems a bit bland. No one can force creativity, but you sure have to go through hell while you wait! I'm an alto, and I write indie-folk. Anyone have some good chords/tunings/capo-ings I could potentially work with? This song has a vibe similar to what you feel when you listen to 'Hide' by Little May, but of course is less alternative. What I wrote isn't happy but not melancholy either.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks (:

You can always find a range you're comfortable playing in, and capo-ing accordingly, I suppose
