Boro are going to be a shower and Karanka is going to be gone

Newcastle making the big signings in the Champo, but Villa are quietly building a decent squad
#15
Liverpool need a much better squad and some good signings to break into top 4. They're comfortably top 7 right now and I think they'll finish 5th-ish due to no European commitments but they're not exactly in the same situation as 13/14 so I don't see them getting that close to the peak of the table tbh.

No truly world class players in the team, Klopp is the biggest asset and he can only do so much.

The team is a lot more balanced than it was in 13/14 though.

Our most played XI was

Mignolet
Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Flanagan
Lucas
Gerrard - Henderson
Coutinho
Sturridge - Suarez

I'd take

Clyne - Lovren - Sakho - Moreno

over 13/14 defence absolutely any day and

Milner - Henderson - Can

over 13/14 midfield absolutely any day

If Sturridge stays fit I think we can definitely sneak it

Especially with #TheNormalOne

I wouldn't trust Rodgers with it at all

Yeah but you don't have Suarez

Sturridge was shockingly bad at the Euros I don't rate him any more

Also Moreno is shit and Henderson is average

Tempted to think we'll actually do a League/Fa Cup/Europa League treble under Puel with Austin top of the PL scoring charts but that all depends on if Austin is injured all the time or not
I have nothing important to say

Brighton were so close to it last season that they kind of deserve it. But realistically it's probably messed them up and they'll be shit this season. I also reckon Villa will need a season or two to get rid of their losing mentality or whatever.

Villa with 30m-40m to spend, some decent players, new owner, actually decent coaching staff (Steve Clarke as a number 2 in the Championship pls)

I think we'll be underestimated. Will finish 2nd behind Newcastle who will win the league easily.

Just seen on the BBC that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is having a medical today

Assuming it all goes well and he signs, I bet people are sitll going to go "Mass exodus! Everyone's being sold!" when Pelle's move is confirmed.

I think the three who went down will be the top 3 in the league. But third place won't win the playoffs. Will do proper predictions at some point

Quote by Mino Raiola
"He is in no rush to leave and Juventus do not want him to go. They want him to renew his contract.

"Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players."

lolus.

MEN are convinced that Raiola is 'trying his hardest' to get Pogba back to United, he comes out with that.

Trying his hardest to get more money and if he can make Fergie look like a tit in the process even better.

I'm genuinely not trying to be overly dramatic, I just think other teams have strengthened well, whereas we'll inevitably end up with a couple of big holes in the squad and Wenger saying 'ze quality in ze market was jus not zere'

EDIT: Also as I mentioned before, worth noting that these are predictions as of now. If you were to ask me again on September 1st they may be different.
