I am looking for help figuring out the year of production for a Thomas Organ Company Cry Baby Wah Model 95-910511 Serial Number 1919569 Made in Sepulveda, California. Someone who bought their Thomas Organ Co. Wah brand new back in 1973 had a serial number close to this one, so I assume it may be of the same vintage.

If it is all original the best way to date it would be the sweep pot.

Thanks. I am not so mechanically inclined to properly remove the piece, and there is a price tag looking sticker that may be placed over those identifying marks.

I believe I bought it new in 1969 but can't be certain. 69-70 for sure. The sweep pot has been replaced 3-4 times so no help there.

They are the real deal. Curious... why the interest in exact production date?

most of these kinda things (same with the JEN wah's) are hard to date exactly cause they were made in batches. Serial numbers are more batch codes than exact serial numbers. sounds like '72-74.
