I just finished listening to Dimmu Borgir's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant now. It's still a great black/death metal album. It is, arguably, their best masterpiece yet.

Anyway, what was the last album you have listened to entirely and by who?

I can't listen to that album. Every time I do it gets me all MAD and my mom says I shouldn't listen to music if it gets me mad.

OT: I can't keep track. I just shuffle all songs. Probably For When You're Falling Backwards by Rome Hero Foxes.

Foltz and I just binged six albums, and they are the following:

Night Verses- Into the Vanishing Light
Chevelle- La Gargola
Ariana Grande- Dangerous Woman
Red Hot Chili Peppers- The Getaway
Nails- You Will Never Be One of Us
Blink 182- Neighborhoods

All of them are fine albums, except the Getaway; we both recommend all five of the rest. A special mention goes to Dangerous Woman for being the dark horse of the tourney, which ended up being one of the most consistent albums we listened to.

All emotions have been drained from my body since we began this expedition, and I have not found any of the answers I have been looking for; the answers to the questions Life begs every day while I pass him on the street and ignore his plea for spare change.

I never listen to albums in full so it's either Born To Die by Lana Del Rey or If I'm The Devil ... by letlive.

any metal fan really needs to check this out. It's one of the very few metal albums that I think is perfection all the way through

what's so ugh about it?

albums invariably are full of filler most of the time

much of my listening is in irregular periods when im walking to work and won't fit a full album in

i just stick a playlist on shuffle and listen to the bangers

Nothing better than listening to a well-crafted album that takes you on a journey from start to finish. Granted most albums nowadays are simply a collection of songs stuck on a disk, but occasionally you get some proper albums that are greater than the sum of its parts and have some thought put into the way they're set out.

I do shuffle songs at times when the mood suits but that's just mainly for background music. I get way more enjoyment listening to albums in full.

I never make journeys long enough for a full album and if I do it's usually on a drive that will awkwardly be about an hour long so I'll have time for a full album generally and then 20 minutes of silence

There's really not a lot of album out there that are 100% all killer no filler

Ironically Sum-41 has a lot of filler

Oh I mean I 'have' to cuz reviews etc.

I mean, I don't dislike Biffy that much tbh, but they weren't popular when I would've cared about them so I don't really feel much for them.

I heard it when it came out and was underwhelmed by how generically American it sounded.

I mean, it's decent but it needs to grow on me. I'm still disinclined to listen to the 'adorable' melodic style that they've developed cuz now every band who does that just sounds like Chon and Polyphia and even those two bands are grating these days.

I think Jakub Zytecki of Disperse is way ahead of Intervals:

lol Dimmu is garbage
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

according to last.fm, the last full album i listened to was Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning.

i generally listen to full albums when playing games bc it's easier than alt+tabbing to change the song, and i don't want to make a playlist of music i feel like listening to every time, nor do i want to put my entire library on shuffle.

That dimmu album is pretty amazing.
I listen to albums all the time. Been listening to all killswitch. The 2 Enshine albums are amazing. Insomnium albums are amazing.
I-Exist album is cool listening to all at once. The way that album was put together was really neat. Definitely not the kind of music UG listens to, but i really love it

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Second Helping

This is good.

I just finished listenning to:

I generally listen to full albums all-the-way through nowadays. Tame Impala's 'Currents', Lana Del Rey's 'Honeymoon' and Allah-Lahs eponymous first album have all been getting a lot of play time too.
'And after a while, you can work on points for style.
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake,
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile.'

So that when they turn their backs on you,
You'll get the chance to put the knife in.'
