I basically do with minor variations, it's not very secure but neither is constantly forgetting your password.

I WISH!!!!
But Nooooooo everything has to have their own stupid rules.
This one has to have a number
This one can't have numbers
That one just has to have an uppercase

Wait, so you can change a password to be something that's not "password"?

Obligatory "today i joined a new website and used the word "penis" as my password. the website said my password was too short"...

Not mine, not original, but still.

I have a "stem" password which I make alterations to. All I have to do is trace the extensions and case to my last login and what I jotted down.

It'd still be possible to crack but outside of banking and business emails it tends to make things easier for a fickle memory.

I just set up a password manager today and changed all mine to random strings. Now I just have to remember the master password to my password manager. I made sure to make that one a really good one, but it's memorable.

I've been seeing a lot of password talk for the past couple of days.

I have 3 password classes.
- Forums and sites that never involve money- Zero risk, super easy password, minimum security.
- Accounts that involve money from paypal or Credit cards- Moderate risk, significantly secure passwords.
- Actual banking or investment accounts- Highest risk, long totally random strings, max security.

I use one password with about 3 different variations. It's annoying when I can't remember which variation I need for something
I have nothing important to say
#23
I try, but it's 7 characters and some sites require 8 so I usually vary between 2.

I have two passwords that I use minor variations of for different things.

Also some Mexican lady hijacked my 2nd Facebook account that I made for a school project once. I frequently log in to it and creep on her life. No shame.

I have a few set words that I just add numbers and rotate.
is the rotating so as to distract anyone who might be peering over your shoulder?

Yes, I'm usually in an office chair so I just spin around a bit.

If it's putting my PIN in somewhere I have a whole dance routine.

I have a few that I rotate between, with variations depending on the requirements for certain sites (e.g. some say "just letters & numbers!" & some are like "you gotta have x-amount of !@#$%^& characters too!").

The worst is when I cannot remember which password I used & also forget which email address I used.
