Because nothing bad had happened in 2016 for a good 10 minutes.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/bubonic-plague-russian-boy-hike-siberian-mountains-infected-catches-black-death-a7138861.html

A 10-year-old boy caught bubonic plague while hunting with his grandfather in Siberian mountains.

The Russian is believed to have caught the potentially deadly disease when he cut himself with a knife while skinning a marmot.

Marmots are large rodents which are known to be susceptible to carrying the disease.

I'm not exactly sure what your avatar is, but every time it reminds me of the apple from Fruit of the Loom commercials.

i don't think this is anything special, as far as I know it's still carried by rodents in a lot of places so you get cases like this one every now and then.

I always thought it was still around in resource-deprived regions.

From Wiki:

Globally in 2013 there were about 750 documented cases which resulted in 126 deaths.[1] The disease is most common in Africa.[1]

According to the World Health Organization, the pandemic was considered active until 1959, when worldwide casualties dropped to 200 per year. In 1994, a plague outbreak in five Indian states caused an estimated 700 infections (including 52 deaths) and triggered a large migration of Indians within India as they tried to avoid the plague.

False flag again. It is clear that the black liquid is actually an alien lifeform.
