“Names”

Verse

John Doe was the jack of all trades
Slanged Maryjane, molly, Lucy and cocaine
He wanted to make a name for himself
Be rich in notoriety not just wealth

He was always ready to fight but never barked
A dead eye that always drew first and hit the mark
A career criminal, just bobbing up and down
He only had a strong will to always dick around

Chorus

He always was Johnny on the spot for a quick fix
Didn’t tolerate tom foolery or take shit
Murphy’s law would never get the best of him
Knowing Damn well when shit went down, he would just split

Verse

Jane Doe had a pretty penny
But she always was a nervous nelly
Always coped with drugs but things got messy
She got caught, in distraught ratted to the cops

Peeping Tom watched Jane Doe twenty-four seven
Saw it ago down didn’t hesitate to tell john
John jimmied her lock , shot and sent her to heaven
Frankly, He grimly thought, she didn't deserve dawn

Chorus

He always was Johnny on the spot for a quick fix
Didn’t tolerate tom foolery or take shit
Murphy’s law would never get the best of him
Knowing Damn well when shit went down, he would just split

Bridge

The D.A signed his john Hancock on the warrant
And quickly sent the paddy wagon off roaring
Then he sipped his cup of joe and went about his morning
The police kicked in john’s door without a warning

They found drugs in the john confirming Jane’s story
John was missing, dumping jane in a quarry
Luck was up his alley, He got away scott-free
Moved onto another town, continued his Spree

Chorus

He always was Johnny on the spot for a quick fix
Didn’t tolerate tom foolery or take shit
Murphy’s law would never get the best of him
Knowing damn well when shit went down, he would just split
Constructive feedback appreciated!
