Going to Las Vegas for brother in law's 40th bday. Never been. Aside from the casinos any suggestions?

Go to the Pawn Stars pawn shop and troll them hard.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

Don't join the Italian mafia and try to run a racket on the casinos

don't try to kill a guy with a vice

don't put a bomb under That Guy's car; there's a metal plate installed under his seat bro

Its a small shit hole in not a great part of town. Unless youre a fan I would skip.

Check out lots of shows because thats probably the most fun part aside from gambling and getting shitfaced. Good restaurants too if youre into that stuff. I personally liked walking around and just checking out the sights.

Also they serve booze all basically 24/7 so dont get too drunk the first night. It will probably wreck the rest of the trip.

Cirque de Soleil is amazing, I recommend Zarkana at the ARIA, super awesome show at one of the nicest hotels on the strip. Recover at the breakfast buffet at Caesars, you won't regret it. 5$ blackjack at Jimmy Buffet's casino attached to the Flamingo or at The Cromwell right next door is awesome, you can make 100$ last for a long time and drink for free while you play. Rio seafood buffet. Fuckin love vegas!

Get married to a stranger by Elvis in a drive through chapel!

The Hard Rock has a really nice pool area
They have like 8 different pools or something. The hotel itself isn't that great, but the outdoor pools are ace
My God, it's full of stars!

go watch some magic shows and see a concert or something

bands are always playing in vegas, and chris angel performs there a lot
if i ever go back to vegas i'm going when my favorite band is playing there, and some top class magician is in town

besides casinos and strip clubs and shit, there's not much else to do there, unless you like outdoorsy stuff.

+1 on Cirque De Soliel, that was amazing ....

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

Don't go to the casinos, ones run by a mob family, ones run by a bunch of wisecraking 50's fops and the other is run by cannibals.

Oh and don't go to the opposite side of the hoover damn, there's a whole bunch of sexually questionable men speaking latin and wearing american handegg shoulder pads.

Yeah, the pawn stars place is shit. Basically a glorified gift shop. I also went to the "counting cars" place (count's customs), which is also a glorified gift shop, but at least with cool cars to look at.

Honestly I enjoyed hiking around the hoover dam the most out of anything the week I was there. I do love outdoors shit though.

Don't go to Morton's it's the biggest rip off in Vegas. Learned that the hard way.
Also it takes forever to walk along the strip.

Catch a show or something though.

My old man loves really dated looking "high-end" steak houses (the kinds that are dimly lit, with shitty booths all over, cigarette smoke, and display trays for your food.) and Morton's is like heaven for him. He literally refuses to admit any steak is better.

I'm just surprised I can find Chicken Kiev and Beef Wellington from a menu that wasn't made in 1974
