(Bugera 333XL 120 Watt Head & Cab)

Hi guys,

So I was at band practice today and we were playing a few songs when my Amp (I believe head) volume faded out to practically nothing, then after a few seconds went back to normal volume. Very strange I thought...

And then after that happened a couple of times, my head cut out power completely, then made a cracking sound before coming back on (pretty sure it reset itself). This happened maybe 3-4 times........ :-(

Does anyone know what they problem might be? Before I take it to my local music store? So I know what I am in for?

Thanks!!!

Infinium model or conventional?

If conventional probably a tube issue, if infinium good luck...

sounds fishy. something may be up, with the amp, or you pushed it too long on bad tubes.

Strangely, I have the same problem with my SS practice amp. May not be the same cause, obviously, but perhaps check the speaker wiring?

Just checked the head, doesn't say infinium anywhere on it...

Should be a standard model then, Infinium models have multiple LED's on the back etc. for the Infinium tech.

As noted elsewhere it's most likely your power tubes.
