Hi everyone, been a while. I'm in search of guitarists that use classical guitars with nylon strings, to play pop, new age, and jazz music. I'm looking for mellow music in particular. A couple of people come to mind: Earl Klugh, Will Ackerman, Chet Atkins in the 80s and 90s.

I'm sure there are some great artists who use classical guitars in a non-traditional manner. I just don't have any idea who they are.
Anyone know any guitarist who play this way?

Ok, thanks for any suggestions.

Steve Erquiaga has some great stuff, pretty exclusively plays nylon string guitars

Steve Oliver has some great chops and plays kind of a new age easy listening jazz-ish style. I saw him live when I was young and it was good fun.

Then this new City and Colour is nylon string and it's great

My God, it's full of stars!
