Every August 24th my whole country goes at at night to dance to oldies (from the 70s/80s and sometimes 90s). It's called "Nostalgia Night"
Do people do something similar in the place you live?

Regardless, post your best dancing oldies ITT

I mean my whole country doesn't do it. We have bars that do theme nights sometimes but it's definitely not the whole nation

I wish my entire country did this. It would be pretty rad to have the entire USA go retro for a day.

To be honest we have enough radio stations dedicated to nothing but old music that we don't have much desire as a collective nation to celebrate it even more.

I mean 90s nights are sort of popular with the uni crowd these days because everyone from like 95-98 are trying to act like they're so 90s.

a local bar/venue here does 80s, 90s, and emo nights pretty regularly throughout the year, I've only been 21 for three months and haven't had the opportunity to experience it yet though

A friend of mine recently uploaded an Instagram video of him doing Karaoke at one and he was singing Barenaked Ladies - One Week and it made me really want to go to one

I'm sorry.

JK, but I lived there for 4 years while I went to school in New Albany. I think I may recall you saying that now, actually. It's a decent area, I think.

Still in southern Indiana, but closer to Cincinnati. Since most people only know one city in the area, Madison, I'll say it's about 20 miles east of that. About an hour and twenty minutes from Floyd County.
