Hello,
I want to buy an effect to Green Day, My Chemical Romance etc., but I'am not an expert, so I don't know which one will be the best. I would be very grateful if you could advise me something

My guitar: Gretsch G5435 Pro Jet Club and amp VOX VT40 +.

Set your Vox to the Brit 1959 setting or the Brit 800 setting. Green Day tone is mostly modded Marshall 1959SLP. MCR has used a variety of amps over the years, though I know they used JCM 2000 amps for a while. Not sure how much closer you can get than that, apart from buying one of those amps. Pro Jet with the Blacktop Filtertrons probably not the best pickup for the job, but you'll have to deal with it... still a good guitar, but those filtertrons are not a hot duncan style humbucker.
Gear: Gibson Les Paul Studio, Gibson SG Special, Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Fender Jazzmaster, Gretsch Pro Jet, Carvin C350, Epiphone ES-339 P90, Epiphone ES-335 Pro. Peavey 6505, Sovtek MIG-100, Vox AC30, Peavey XXX.

^ yeah. i mean the amp already has a lot of fx built-in, i'm not sure there'll be any massive advantage to buying a pedal unless there are some effects that the amp doesn't do, or doesn't do well.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
