Hey all, first post. I have a new JS140 and the D and G intonation screw hole threads are stripped which happened as a result of direction by an Ibanez rep, through my seller on Amazon, to use plumbers tape around the screw. I'm guessing it's because the tremolo metal is soft and cheap. I've tried to contact Ibanez support through their contact form but haven't heard anything back. I'm not even sure I want them to replace it if this could happen again.

I'm looking for tips and advice on how to either get a hold of Ibanez and not get another cheap base plate or upgrade to a better tremolo system. Cheers

reverb66 Thanks for the advice. It's the threads in the base plate that are stripped. I'm having difficulty finding a chrome replacement.
