I've got several pictures of a guitar that I'm trying to find based on pictures. The pictures were taken in Japan in 1994, so I'm assuming that the guitar is from the late 1980s or early 1990s. Someone suggested that the guitar could be Fernandes, but looking at blurry pictures, it almost looks like the headstock says ESP Edwards on it (although I could be wrong). Could someone here please help out? Thank you!

K33nbl4d3 Mana from Malice Mizer. These photos are taken before he started using the ESP Jeune fille guitars that he's become known for.

Right, so I'm not likely to find many interviews about his gear

Really not sure about this one, it's enough of a difference from a standard superstrat shape that someone who knows the model might recognise it, at least. I guess Fernandes and ESP are the right makes to be looking at for '90s VK, but the logo doesn't really look like any of the brands I'm aware of under either umbrella. Probably a total red herring but it almost makes me want to say PRS or a copy thereof...

jeune fille? wtf?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

It's hard to read on the headstock, but I believe it's a Bill Lawrence
Fantastic spot

An in-law of mine has a different Bill Lawrence- a Stratclone- so I had a hidden advantage. Plus, I'm tuned into details like that.

OTOH, I damn near put my saving gel on my toothbrush this morning...
