I'm enjoying learning to play "Spanish romance", but I'm wondering how I'm supposed to press the 11th on the high e-string and the 7th at the low. At the same time.

Or are they supposed to be played extremly fast after eachother?

That part of the piece is performed with a full Barre chord at the B on the 7th fret E string. Use your ring finger for the 8th fret first string. You just have to stretch your pinky out to grab the 11th on the high e string:

7--8--7--11--8--7--
-7--7--7---7--7--7-
--8--8--8---8--8--8
-------------------
-------------------
7--------7---------

It's a bit of a stretch, so experiment with different hand positions until you can do it comfortably. The key is to keep the index and middle fingers down the entire time so that the notes ring out.
