A few days ago I bought a set of emg 81 and 85 to put in my guitar.
The wiring scheme is quite clear but it has a pickup switch that look diffrent to mine.
Does anyone know which points are which?

Thanks,

Jannes.

If your guitar has a 5 way switch, dump it and buy a 3 way blade.

What i did, when i had no idea what the terminals on my switch do, was to wire it into a simple curcuit with a 9v battery and a 9v bulb or led or whatever. Then you just check which terminals are active in every position of the switch. That way you can draw a wiring diagram for the switch and then figure out how you need to wire the pickups so that the correct ones are active in the correct positions.

I meant that you should to the same experiment. Make your own diagram.
